Our wedding photographer is coming to London from the States. I knew I had always wanted engagement pictures of us but didn’t know if it would be possible to get them before the wedding, since our wedding photographer wasn’t in London. The more I thought about having some photos of Frans, Sir Oliver and Me together in London made me really excited.

We got Oliver almost two and a half years ago. Oliver is an Australian Shepard and as a lot of dog owners feel, he is our child. We moved Oliver to London with us a year and a half ago, and we both could not imagine life without him here. As many guys are, my fiancé was not ecstatic about the idea of engagement photos, however when I mentioned the idea of having Sir Oliver in them, he was psyched at that idea.

We spend a lot Saturday’s taking LONG walks with Oliver in Hampstead Heath. We throw our wellies on and let Oliver run all over the fields, its a memory that I cherish every time, whether we live here for another 10 years or three years, walks with our dog at Hampstead Heath in London is wonderful.

We decided to do just that for our day out with Oliver and Kylee. We ran around the fields and got coffee at the adorable and historic Kenwood House.

We are unable to have Oliver at our wedding because the venue does not allow dogs on the grounds, we thought this was the perfect time to get pictures of our little “family” together. It truly was a wonderful day and a great way to celebrate our upcoming wedding!
