Fetchlight Pet Lifestyle Photography: Phoebe the Aussie Shepherd

As you’ll read below Aussie Shepherd, Phoebe, is not only a survivor in many ways – she now looks after other foster dogs that her parents take in.

Meet Phoebe…

Phoebe the 6-year-old Australian Shepherd was adopted from Aussie Rescue San Diego in August, and she is a very special girl who has a fantastic forever home!

Phoebe is a breast cancer survivor, which is truly amazing. Hooray for Phoebe!

Phoebe loves other dogs so she is the perfect friend for the foster dogs her parents take care of, and Phoebe loves her new cat siblings so much that she helps groom them!

She’s obviously a very sweet and gentle dog, who is usually a mellow couch potato, but she brought her best smile to our photo shoot together! (Thanks, Phoebe!)

I had the pleasure of photographing her custom session in her scenic “backyard”: Mt. Helix, and also at Harbor Island across from North Island Coronado where her dad works, which made that location even more special. Jen Bergren was taking photography classes while working as an advertising designer at Petco’s corporate office in San Diego, when those two interests combined and she started photographing pets for Petco. She left the corporate world in 2011 to start Fetchlight Pet Lifestyle Photography, and to spend more time on her freelance magazine design career. Jen is a member of HeARTS Speak and photographs adoptable pets for CoronadoCARES rescue and Aussie and Others Rescue San Diego, where she adopted her orange foxy dog, Tawny.
