From Kathy:

Everyone, meet George. He is a one year old Boxer puppy. Well, technically an adult now, but still very young at heart. Age is just a number afterall, right? Before our photo session, George’s mom introduced her boy to me through e-mail as a “mahogany red Boxer and SUCH a goofball.” That description of George is spot-on.

Some of my favorite images of George took place right at the beginning of our session. Pet photographers will know this is more the exception than the rule — normally, it can take dogs a while to warm up to the camera before I get some really good images, but George? I think he had his mind made up when he woke up that morning. He would waste no time at all. And so he didn’t.

George has a super carefree personality, yet can show a serious side when he’s not doing crazy fast zoomies around the park with the funniest faces. Watching him play and have fun can really lift anyone’s spirit. I had such a delightful time that morning spending it with George and his mom.

Along with a supportive loving husband, she shares life with her senior Chihuahua Jemma and her cat Tofu. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community.
