I love how nowadays pets are such a big part of our world, that their photoshoots can be literally anywhere. No longer resigned to the backyard or a basket in the studio, magic can, and indeed does, happen. Just like this amazing Graffiti Dog Shoot by Dana Cubbage Photography…
From Dana:
As part of the creative process, I’m always on the look out for new, unique locations for my clients. I make it a habit to go out and find a new location at least once a month because it helps keep me inspired. Last May, Camden and I found this incredible graffiti wall in the Charleston area and although I haven’t had a client request such a modern + urban location (…yet) I am hopeful that someday I’ll find the perfect dog to photograph in this location because I think it is just amazing.
Camden is my most patient model and he is the one who usually gets the call when it comes to location scouting shoots. Mainly because he’s the best one out of my three dogs when it comes to sit and stay! He always gives me the most goofy faces, which I love. After all the location scouting sessions we’ve done in Charleston since moving here in January 2012, he’s becoming the consummate pro.
