Meet Marfa, arguably the most adorable puppy in the world.

This little dog oozes charm and stops grown men in their tracks to coo over how SMOOSHY AND CUTE the little baby dog is, and she is wholly unsurprised by the attention – in fact, she expects it! Marfa knows that she’s just that bit special.

Spending time with Marfa and her (gorgeous, charming, funny) human guardians was an absolute delight.

This was almost entirely unposed session with very little direction on my part and yet every photograph seemed to have that special something that made it a keeper – perhaps it was how much they clearly loved each other, how readily the humans conversed and played with their puppy.

They wanted to show me how Marfa knew ‘sit’ and ‘paw’ but also how much she loved her pink rabbit and how she would snuggle in their arms. And combined with the gorgeous golden sunlight that we only occasionally get in London, every photograph seemed to glow.

I came home invigorated, and with more than a little puppy fever!
