When I first saw this session by Westway Studio, my immediate thought was ‘Double Trouble’.

These gorgeous pups look like they know how to have fun! And boy is their adorable doggy friendship and zest for life captured in this wonderful session…

From Terran:

Meet Tomac & Dodge, two of the goofiest German Wirehaired Pointers you’ll ever meet. About 1 minute after meeting me, they decided I was a friend and both tried to sit on my lap at the same time. It didn’t work out too well for them — they were a little too big — but I knew right then that it was going to be a fun session!

Tomac is the liver-colored pup and Dodge is the ticked-color pup.

Both love to lounge around the house, especially on their mom & dad’s bed. As soon as I suggested going outside to Tomac, though, he raced out the door, down the stairs, and leapt into the pool (you might notice he’s soaking wet in a few shots). Dodge was a little more apprehensive about being in the backyard since he’s afraid of the pool, so we did his outdoor shots in the front yard. He was much happier out there (as you may be able to tell from his super-smile shot)!

Tomac & Dodge were true superstars for their shoot and I had a blast photographing them.

They kept me laughing the whole time and they gave me kisses… I couldn’t ask for anything better!

Wow what beautiful dogs. We also have a wiredhair but his face is not as hairy. Love the gentleness in the breed!
