Top 10 Dog Names
One of my favourite games is coming up with names for the hypothetical dogs I’d like to own in the future. In my mind I have Butters and Scotch (two rambunctious, chocolate balls of fluff) and Lady Violet (a rescued Golden Retriever in her golden years). Add Soda into the pack and you can tell I don’t go for your conventional dog names.
It’s so fun coming up with dog names. For me 3 basic rules apply:
* Choose a name that suits your dog. Soda, for example, is perfectly bubbly and refreshing!
* Choose a name that doesn’t rhyme with basic commands (such as sit, stay, come) or other family members’ names. It’s just too darn confusing.
* Choose a name that all family members would be happy yelling out in the park (hence why my husband has banned me from ever naming a dog Lady Fluffykins)
