Molly Mutt Eco-Friendly Dog Beds

As I’m sure many of your know tomorrow is Earth Hour*. So what better way to celebrate our earth than checking out some super cool eco-friendly products from the gorgeous Molly Mutt.

The premise behind Molly Mutt is rather than throwing away your old dog bed when it gets a bit smelly or old, you recycle it, saving so much extra waste from ending up in landfills. All you need to do is use a Molly Mutt duvet cover to recover your old bed OR use your Molly Mutt stuff sack to make a new dog bed out of old T-Shirts, blankets etc that you would otherwise throw out. It’s all about reusing and recycling – but in the most stylish way possible!

There are a bucketload of cute bed designs on offer each one with the guarantee that you’re doing your bit to help keep our planet around for a bit longer. For more information and to purchase visit the Molly Mutt Online Store.

* At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011, lights will switch off around the globe. Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. I remember that year – I was at a birthday party at a bar filled with gorgeous candles and a friend fell down a small flight of stairs. The official excuse was that with the lights off she couldn’t see, but she later admitted her lack of grace was more likely caused by numerous cocktails. For more information on how you can participate visit the Earth Hour Website.

  2. That is very cool! Love the ecological angle.

  3. These are amazing! I love that they can be stuffed with used clothing. Reusing is the next best thing after reducing! Thanks for sharing…I’m adding this to my too-long wish list. 😉
