Puppies bring so much joy and mischief don’t they? There was never a dull moment when Coco Bean was a wee pupster. Exploring nature, car rides, and the Disney word that is the living room, and of course playing under the coffee table like it is their own personal fort!
But most of all, puppyhood was all about exploring new tastes and smells. That’s right, we’re talking treats! Coco always preferred the softer, chewier treats when she was a pup. Her eyes would fill with excitement and her tail would wag into a super sonic blur as soon as the dog treats would come out… willing to please and do anything for just one. more. treat.
Can you imagine tasting treats for the first time? Let’s blow some puppy minds!
Dog Biscuit Recipe for Puppies
We’ve created a soft, yummy, and super healthy dog biscuit recipe that we hope your puppy (and even full grown doggies) will love as much as ours did.
We won’t judge if you decide to steal a few bites, they taste like miniature banana bread cookies – YUM. The smell of banana and cinnamon alone will have all the pups in the yard paying extra close attention to you!
Ingredients
1 Organic Pasture Raised Egg
3/4 Cup Unsalted Almond Butter
1/3 of an Organic Banana
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350° Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use a fork to mash the banana in a medium/large size bowl. Once mashed, add in the rest of the ingredients and mix together with a fork until blended. The batter consistency should be very thick and gooey – this will not resemble your normal treat dough.
Spoon out dime sized dollops onto your parchment paper and place in the oven for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn the pan and bake for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool. These dog biscuits should last for approximately 5-7 days.
** The above dog treat recipe is for treats only and should not replace your dog’s regular meal plans. Always check with your vet about any major changes to your dogs diet.

Would these be ok with natural peanut butter? I’m flat out of almond butter AND treats and need to whip some up tonight!
The taste would be different, but the consistency should be about the same. Plus what dog doesn’t love peanut butter! Enjoy 🙂
