We’ve rounded up 12 of THE prettiest sofa blankets around for you and your dog (oh and your sofa!).
The Goods
1. The Inka by Ferm Living – With modern, tribal tones and strong graphics this blanket will look eye-catching on your sofa, chair or bed.
2. Glimmering Chevrons Throw by Leif – Glimmering chevrons give character to this cotton throw, crafted with a woven texture and gold-infused fringe.
3. Watermelon Ombre Wool by Leif – A bit of a splurge, but this American made throw is the ultimate in quality and luxury. Super plush and oh so soft in Italian wool, it’s a stylish investment and a modern heirloom.
4. Herringbone Wool by Mutts & Hounds – Made with your dog in mind! This luxury herringbone blanket is perfect for spoiling your dog or to compliment any room in your home. They look especially nice draped over the sofa, arm of a chair or at the foot of your bed.
5. Navy Pom-Pom by Serena & Lily – We are totally smitten! Everything about it feels substantial, from the densely woven cotton to the plush pom-poms themselves – an underrated design element, in our opinion.
6. York Check Wool by Mutts & Hounds – A special throw just for your dog! Classic, pure wool throw, traditionally crafted in Yorkshire woollen mills since 1837.
7. Byway Throw by CB2 – We love this geometric print! 100% cotton throw is double-knit to ensure extra coziness for you and your dog.
8. Eivor by Ikea – A beautiful classic, sure to match almost any room!
9. Color Chroma by Leif – In six standout colors (including brights, pastels and basics), this super-soft throw feels just like cashmere (it was even made in Italy), with the ease of being machine washable. We love this as a sofa blanket or bed blanket, adding a pop of color to your decor.
10. Pia Wallen Cross by Urban Outfitters – Reversible throw blanket crafted from high quality organic cotton, by Pia Wallén. Finished with a two-tone cross motif + a contrast-stitch trim. Super soft n’ cozy!
11. Prism Fragments by Leif – Asymmetric lines zig and zag to form a prism-like pattern on this cozy throw, crafted in an easy-to-care for cotton blend that feels unexpectedly luxe.
12. Tori in Grey + Sky by Burke Decor & Surya – We heart neutrals! This blanket is perfect for snuggling with your pup on your favorite sofa.

The Inka is my favorite one. I love sofa blankets, specially during movie nights with the husband and kids.
Same! Love a good movie night! 🙂
Obsessed with these, especially the black and white options! We have white “beagle glitter” all over our furniture – and Jello loves to pull the throw blankets off the back of the couch when she’s ready for a snuggle!
We have the Elvor – such a handy multipurpose blanket!
Love this post! Our furniture is paws-allowed, so I’m always looking for new throws that can stand up to fur and dirt and still look cute. These options are gorgeous! I especially love all of the Leif styles. Time to go shopping 🙂
They’re great for throws on the end of the bed too! 🙂
These are lovely! You don’t even need a dog to want to have them on your sofa.
Absolutely! x
So happy you are all enjoying the round up! So much eye candy!
We have the Eivor for our beagle too! Although I must say his ‘beagle glitter’ (love that term Andrea, borrowing it from now on!) really sticks, even after a good wash!
