Christmas DIY Dog Treat Gift Bags: Santa’s Little Helper

Christmas is a time of giving, and that goes for homemade dog treats too!

So if you’ve baked some yummy Christmas dog treats to share with all the neighbourhood pups, and now need a pretty gift bag to place them in – then these cute DIY dog treat gift bags have your name on them.

Well, not your name technically – our DIY dog treat gift bags are for all the ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ pups of course! We’ve made these dog treat bags in 4 different designs to match the Puppy’s First Christmas Gift Tags including the Snowflake, Reindeer, Wreath and Christmas Tree Motifs. The designs are really sweet and festive, and make a thoughtful Christmas gift for all the dog lovers you know.

So go ahead and share the holiday joy with our DIY dog treat gift bags – they’ll be a hit this Christmas!

Christmas DIY Dog Treat Gift Bags: Santa’s Little Helper


Cotton Bags – either make your own or I bought mine from MadeIt.
Bags should be 15cm wide x 20cm high to fit the designs.
Transfer Paper. I got mine from Spotlight.
Colour printer and iron.


Print the free templates below onto iron-on transfer paper.
Iron on to cotton drawstring satchels ensuring a high temperature and even pressure.
Leave a moment to cool and fill with treats. Easy peasy!

  1. This is such an adorable idea! I have 3 cats and am always running out of ideas of gifts for them. They’ve had those store-bought cat stockings more years in a row than I can count! I’m sure I could adapt this for them 🙂 xx
