Behind the Recipe: Calming Chamomile Cookies for Dogs

From Riesa:

Good food is all the sweeter when shared with our furry best friends, don’t you think?

I love it when I can share food with my labrador, Bowie. When I make treats for ourselves, I am always mindful that I use dog-friendly, healthy ingredients so that Bowie can enjoy them as well! This of course applies to our Calming Dog Cookies recipe.

The holidays can be very stressful for our pooches, our family, even ourselves. What better way to calm the nerves by having a quiet, bonding time with our furry best friends munching these calming cookies!

Master Bowie Calming Cookies use calming ingredients such as oats (a superfood for senior dogs), almonds, honey and chamomile. Oats are rich in tryptophan and selenium, which help reduce anxiety and boost your mood. Almonds have B vitamins and magnesium, which help produce serotonin.

Blended with warm honey and chamomile, not only do the cookies smell soothing, but they also help calm and relax the body.

We hope you and your pup love them! Riesa & Bowie x
